We are a small domain of 9 hectares in the South of France in the Appellation „Faugères“, located in the middle of the hills of the southern slopes of the Cévennes which overlook the Mediterranean. All our vineyards are located in the middle of an intact Mediterranean nature marked by the sun and the wind.

Our entire vineyard is on shale soil 370 million years old, which is among the oldest soils in Europe and gives the wine a very mineral character.

We, Olivier Binet and Pierre Jacquet, share a common passion for authentic terroir wines. Driven by this vision, we embarked on the adventure in 1999 and created our estate from scratch.

We have planted the native grape varieties of the region, Grenache, Carignan, Mourvèdre, Syrah and Cinsault. Since the creation we cultivate our vineyards in an entirely artisanal and natural way according to the principles of biodynamics and are certified Organic and Demeter.  

We vinify each of our 17 plots separately to express the character of their terroir to the maximum and age the wines according to their characteristics in stainless steel vats, concrete vats, barrels, stoneware amphora or concrete eggs.

We produce four cuvees: the fruity Faugères, the elegant Réserve, the very mineral Grande Réserve and the Grande Réserve de Schiste, which is produced for three years in stoneware amphora. All our wines are marked by a pronounced freshness, a beautiful elegance and a strong minerality.
