Réserve
The Faugères Réserve is a very elegant Mediterranean wine which will compliment a good meal.
Varieties Selection from our best plots. Mainly Grenache, with some Syrah, Carignan and Mourvèdre. The exact percentages vary depending on the vintage.
Yealds Low yields of 25 to 30 hectoliters on average.
Vinification Long maceration with manual punching down for 3 to 4 weeks.
Ageing The Réserve is aged for two years, with the majority matured in concrete vats, and a smaller proportion aged in French oak barriques.
Tasting A wine marked by elegance and deepness. We recommend opening the bottle at least two hours before and using large wine glasses.
Ad table The Réserve pairs beautifully with Mediterranean cuisine. It accompanies beef, lamb, game as well as spicy dishes. Cheese, in particular goat and sheep, also matches perfectly.

Grande Réserve
The Faugères Grande Réserve is a great wine for special occasions. It is produced in limited quantities.
Varieties Selection from our very best vineyards. Predominantly Carignan, completed with Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre.

Vinification Long maceration with manual punching down for 3 to 4 weeks.
Ageing Aged two years in concrete egg and in French oak barrels.
Tasting A great wine marked by a strong minerality, elegance and power. We recommend opening the bottle at least three hours before and using large wine glasses.
Ad table The Grande Réserve matches beautifully with fine meats dishes, in particular beef, game and lamb.

Grande Réserve de Schiste
Le Faugères Grande Réserve de Schiste est l’expression la plus pure de la minéralité du schiste de Faugères. Il est produit en quantité très limitée.
Varieties Issu de Mourvédre de notre meilleure parcelle au lieu-dit « Bouzigues ».
Yealds Very low yield of 20-25 hectoliters per hectare on average.
Vinification Long maceration with manual punching down for 3 to 4 weeks.
Ageing Three years in stoneware amphora.
Tasting Un vin d’une grande profondeur et élégance. L’ouverture une demie journée auparavant et l’utilisation de grands verres augmentent considérablement les qualités de ce vin.
